Summary

Deemer is indentured to Melcher Beltzhoover to serve for six years.

Transcription

This Indenture made the fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety-four. Witnesseth that, Deemer, a negro woman, hath put herself and by these presents doth put herself, and is bound a servant unto Melcher Beltzhoover of St. Clair Township in the County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Farmer, & him, his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns faithfully and honestly to serve from the day of the date hereof, until the term of six years from thence next ensuing be compleat & ended.  And the said Melchor Beltzhoover his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns shall find and provide for sd servant sufficient meat, drink, washing, lodging and apparel fitting for such servant during said term.

In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto interchangably set their hands and seals the day and year aforesaid.
